International Business Program
The International Business Program at Sam Houston State University is led by faculty that are recognized for excellence in instruction, research, and service.
The BBA in International Business offers coursework that is grounded in theory, a degree that is versatile, and a wide variety of experiences and cultural exposure.
Coursework
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business will automatically have a minor in Economics, and there are enough elective hours to earn a minor in most business disciplines without adding additional hours to the program.
A minor in a foreign language is strongly recommended, as students are offered numerous opportunities to study abroad. Funding is available for all students involved in the various global opportunities.
Please note that International Business is not a course subject unto itself. Rather, the curriculum is comprised of courses from all disciplines of business: economics, business analysis, accounting, finance, management, management information systems, marketing, and business communications.
