• Temporary ID cards are only valid for a 14 day period and are not valid for usage on campus or otherwise after the expiration date shown on the card.

• Once you receive and activate your Bearkat OneCard before the 14 day period your temporary card will automatically deactivate
• The Temporary Card is invalid after the indicated expiration date and can no longer be used after that date.
• A Temporary ID card is provided at no charge to the customer if they are receiving their first Bearkat OneCard or for a card quality issue related to an existing Bearkat OneCard.
• If a Bearkat OneCard is lost, a temporary ID card for on campus usage will be provided and the cost of the replacement Bearkat OneCard of $25.00 will be charged to your Sam Houston student billing account.
• Once reported lost, a Bearkat OneCard can never be reactivated or used again and is subject to confiscation.

If a Temporary ID card is needed as a short term alternative and a permanent Bearkat OneCard does not need to be ordered, one can be issued for a 14 day period at a cost of $10.00 per instance.  Once a temporary ID card has been issued, a replacement fee will not be waived.
