The Master of Business Administration program at Sam
Houston State University offers a full business approach
that develops candidates for positions of leadership in modern
organizations. Because managerial procedures and practices
are continually changing, the program emphasizes the development
of sound decision-making abilities for a dynamic business
environment.
Evening classes are offered at both the main campus in Huntsville,
Texas and at The University Center in The Woodlands, Texas.
Students may take courses at either or both locations. It
is possible to complete all of the MBA degree requirements
at The University Center.
Sam Houston State University offers a traditional MBA program.
Students are not required to, but may elect to seek a specialization
in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management,
Management, or Marketing.
Sam Houston State University’s College of Business
Administration and its MBA program is accredited by AACSB,
International. AACSB is recognized as the most prestigious
accrediting agency in business education.
Sam Houston State University’s MBA faculty are not
only academically qualified, but many have corporate or entrepreneurial
experience. Small classes encourage an interactive and personal
