POLICY AND PROCEDURE

FOR THE ACTIVATION OF BEARKAT ONECARD

FOR UNIVERSITY SERVICES

I. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This document outlines the policy and procedures requiring faculty, staff, and students of Sam Houston State University to activate their Bearkat OneCard in order to receive services linked to the Bearkat OneCard.

II. POLICY

It is the policy of Sam Houston State University that all faculty, staff, and students be required to activate their Bearkat OneCard in order to utilize the services linked to the Bearkat OneCard on campus. This policy is not intended to require faculty, staff, or students to choose one method of refund over another.

Rather, this policy is to ensure that the intended recipient of the Bearkat OneCard has, in fact, received it and, that by activating the card through Bearkat OneCard Activation Website , is submitting notification to the University and its contracted card issuer, Higher One , that the card has been received and should be activated for all on-campus privileges.
