2015 Homecoming Parade
1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive prize money of $1000, $500 and $250 respectively from the SHSU Homecoming Committee. The remaining four categories receive their names on plaques that are placed in the Lowman Student Center. Judges consisted of members from the university staff and student body along with a community representative. Entries were judged based on appearance, use of theme and creativity. Thank you to everyone who participated and showed their Bearkat spirit and support!
1st Place ($1,000) = Recreational Sports (“Kat-Hop”)
2nd Place ($500) = Omega Delta Phi (“Greased Lightning”)
3rd Place ($250) = Kappa Delta Chi (“60s Bus”)
(Awards below can be found on plaques in the LSC, 3rd floor)
Best All-Round = Recreational Sports
Best Use of Theme = Construction Association (“Through the years”)
Most Creative = Ag Sciences & Engineering Technology (“Drone”)
Committee’s Choice = Omega Delta Phi
