In 2014 the Correction Management Institute of Texas invited GCJD to create a training program for Corrections Management leadership staff to assist them in dealing with internal and external communications. Kelli Arena works with leadership staff on how to work with the media both in times of crisis, and in daily interactions with the public, staff and stakeholders. Participants come from all over the United States, and are part of GCJD’s mission to partner with other campus entities to serve the public.
