GCJD Teams Up With LEMIT

GCJD has teamed up with the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) to provide crisis communications and other training to law enforcement officials.

GCJD believes that the public is best served when the press and law enforcement understand each other's needs and limitations and work together for the good of society.

While the two sides may often be at odds, this should not stand in the way of a healthy, transparent relationship.

GCJD executive director Kelli Arena is uniquely situated to oversee this training, as she covered federal law enforcement during her years at CNN.

Arena has also trained at the FBI academy in Quantico, VA and at the ATF headquarters in Washington DC.
