As the final project for the Fall 2014 semester, the Global Center Workshop class is tackling the issue of race relations. Students are writing articles about different issues surrounding race- specifically here on the SHSU campus and the Huntsville community. The articles will appear in the Houstonian in early December.
Additionally, GCJD is excited to announce a one-night only showing of "Dear White People" at the Huntsville Movie Theater on December 3rd at 6:30pm, followed by a panel discussion on race.
GCJD will pay for the tickets of the first 125 students who sign up to come to the event. The deadline to get your free ticket is November 25th. To reserve your spot, email gcjd@shsu.edu.
