Steamboat House Open

This Friday the 27th of June the Sam Houston Memorial Museum will commemorate the 149th anniversary of General Sam Houston?s passing and funeral with a special event. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. members of the public will be invited to step inside the Steamboat House and walk in the rooms that the Houston?s once lived in. Guests who wear all black will receive free admission to the museum all day long. The event is free, but donations are accepted. For more information call the Museum at 936-294-1832.
