Register for Orientation

Orientation for students beginning Spring of 2010 are more than welcome to attend New Student Orientation on January 7, 2010.  For more information and/or to access the registration form click here.

For current freshman students needing to access online orientation:

• Log on to SamWeb (https://ww2.shsu.edu/)

• Select the “Student Record” tab

• Select “Online Orientation” from the drop down list

• Complete the online session

*Students not completing orientation will be blocked and not allowed to register for Spring classes until the online session has been completed*

To register for Orientation
Registration for Summer 2010 will open March 1, 2010. Please log into SAM WEB for the Orientation Registration page. Payment must be received either online or by mail in order to complete the registration process. Your space is not saved until payment is received!

To Change Your Orientation Session
Please email the New Student Orientation office at orientation@shsu.edu. Be sure to include your name, Sam ID, session you are currently signed up for and the session you are wanting to change to.  You will receive an email confirmation of your session change. Please bring that confirmation with you to orientation check in.

**Session changes made after the registration deadline

for your original session will be charged a $25 late change fee.**

To Request a Refund
Orientation refunds are available for students and/or attending family members. Please refer to the Orientation Refund form for deadlines to receive an orientation refund. All refund requests must be received or postmarked by the published deadline.
