Be A SAMbassador!
Join a fun team and get a chance to share your love of Sam Houston State with others. Helping prospective students and families on their college search journey is rewarding and purposeful!
About the Team
- Our team works in a fast-paced office, where every day looks different.
- Give tours to prospective students, families, groups, campus VIP guests, and more!
- Help host events, including Saturday@SAM and ExCEL@SAM, and optional: summer camps and Jr. Bearkat youth events.
- SHSU gear including polos, pullover, jackets, and any other uniform pieces. Can earn a SHSU backpack at 6 months.
- Pay raises every 6 months.
- Schedule requirements: 15 hours/week minimum; mandatory staff meeting 4-5pm Wednesdays; two 10am-12pm shifts and one 12pm-2pm shift.
