Construction Projects $5,250,000
Sam Houston State’s beautifully maintained campus and historic architecture provide a serene backdrop to high-tech buildings, recreational and sports facilities as well as a wide variety of residential living options. A much needed construction program is being implemented and to-date, $200 million has been committed to new facilities and scheduled projects. But even with all the recent expansion, needs for new construction and renovation surpass the university’s capabilities and a rapidly growing student enrollment will only widen this gap. A $5.25 million objective has been established as a Share the Vision Capital Campaign priority to aid in Sam Houston State’s construction. Private gifts are the only means of ensuring progress can be maintained.
