Look Up Classes

Search Criteria

Subject

The topic area for a specific course. You may choose multible subjects by holding the CONTROL (CTRL) key and clicking the subjects individually. Please refer to the Course Catalog for more information.

Course Number

CRN numbers have replaced CID numbers from the old numbering system. All courses have been converted from a 3-digit code to a 4-digit code. To reference the old numbers to the new ones, you may view the Crosswalk of Course Numbers.

Title

Title of the course. Please refer to the Course Catalog for more information.

Schedule Type

Not applicable.

Instructional Method

The method of teaching the course such as: classroom, internet, etc. You may choose multiple methods by holding the CONTROL (CTRL) key and clicking the methods individually.

Credit Range

Hours of credit for the course.

Campus

Sam Houston State University location where the course will be taught. You may choose multiple campus locations by holding the CONTROL (CTRL) key and clicking the campus individually.

Course Level

Graduate or Undergraduate courses. Please refer to the Course Catalog for more information.

Part of Term
Non-date based courses only

Full term = Courses that span the 10-week Summer (I & II) term, or all courses for the Fall term, or all of courses for the Spring term.

Mini Session = An approximate 2 week course that is offered after the Spring term and prior to the beginning of the Summer term.

Summer I = Courses offered in the first part of the Summer term.

Summer II = Courses offered for the second part of the Summer term.

You may choose multiple parts of term by holding the CONTROL (CTRL) key and clicking the parts individually.

Instructor

Name of the instructor teaching the course.

Attribute Type

Will signify if a course is writing enhanced, an honors course, or a course which satisfies a component of the core curriculum. For more information review the Core Curriculum in the Course Catalog, or visit an Academic Advisor in the Sam Center.

You may choose multiple attributes by holding the CONTROL (CTRL) key and clicking the attributes individually.

Start Time

Time the class begins on the days it is in session.

End Time

Time the class ends on the days it is in session.

Days

Days the class will be in session.
