My name is Daniel Shorter and I have been a personal trainer since early 2010. I am certified in Personal Training and Exercise Therapy and have held certifications in Fitness Nutrition as well. I truly enjoy training clients and building a personal relationship with them to really understand what makes them tick and what motivates them. I like to use free weights and core strengthening exercises similar to the workouts that world-class athletes use, scaled back of course. These style workouts help build strength, balance, coordination and a physique anyone would be proud of.

Fitness obviously involves passion and knowledge in order to achieve the results that you dream about. There are many roads that lead to Rome, and those roads will involve a lot of trial and error down the way. I've been a fitness enthusiast since I was eleven years old when I first touched a dumbbell and my knowledge and passion for fitness has not slowed down one bit since that day. I've invested a substantial amount of time on my education to be a fitness trainer over the years, and fortunately I've been able to learn from the best coaches/trainers out there. It is my goal to help you find the best road that will lead to your Rome. "Don't tell me that the sky is the limit when there are footprints up on the moon." - Allyson Felix, USA Track Athlete

"Pain is temporary, pride is forever. This is the fitness mantra I instill in my clients to adapt. I believe being physically fit and healthy can impact a person’s life in so many positive areas and I am here to help you discover or rediscover your physical strengths/endurances by creating customized workouts that will push you but will invigorate you to your core. Along with a background in marathon running and volleyball, I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am majoring in Nutrition and I plan on pursuing a master’s in Exercise and Sports Nutrition. My passion in life is living and leading a healthy lifestyle and to share my knowledge and excitement about this field with others as well. If you are ready to work hard, develop new bouts of strengths, and have some fun along the way, I am the trainer for you!"
