Semester Pass: In order to receive your physical pass, please bring your receipt of purchase and SAM ID to RSC Office 162.  You must present your valid semester pass prior to entry.  Please bring your original receipt with you to all group fitness classes until you have received your physical pass.

One-Class Pass: In order to be admitted into a class, you must present your SAM ID along with receipt of purchase prior to entry.

 


Class Descriptions

CARDIO

  • Pure Cardio!-30: Maximize your cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance and your time, all in 30 minutes!  This class involves a series of different moves put together to form a combination, all choreographed to fun, upbeat music!
  • Cardio Core-45: Improve your cardiovascular fitness AND your core strength!  This class starts off with 25 minutes of cardiovascular moves put together to make a combination and finishes up with 20 minutes of core-strengthening exercises.

Kickboxing

  • Cardio Kickboxing-30/45: Work on your jabs, crosses, kicks and cardiovascular fitness!  Designed to introduce basic kickboxing form and technique while providing a great cardiovascular workout and toning all major muscle groups! All fitness levels welcome.
  • Cardio Kick & Core-60: A total body workout! 30 minutes of Cardio Kickboxing combinations, followed by 30 minutes of complete core conditioning.
  • Cardio Kick & Stretch-60: 45 minutes of your favorite cardio kickboxing session followed by 15 minutes of relaxing full body stretching to increase your flexibility.
  • Power Kick-45: Workout need a boost?   Pump it up in a Power Kick class!  This class is high-energy and intensity and packed with a ton of motivating music and powerful cardio kick moves.  You’ll be sure to break a sweat and have a great time doing it!

STEP

  • Step I-30/45: New to step? This class is for you! A cardiovascular workout using the step bench with simple and fun moves choreographed to music.
  • Step Core I-45: The perfect combination workout, involving basic level one step moves and effective core exercises suitable for any fitness level.
  • Step Strength I-60: 30 minutes of basic Step I, followed by 30 minutes of total body strengthening exercises.
  • Step II-45:  A slight step up from Step I, this intermediate step session will introduce more challenging choreography while providing an intense cardio workout. Previous step experience recommended.

DANCE

  • Zumba-45: Add some flare to your workout and shake your cha-cha! This Latin-inspired group fitness class incorporates Latin music with fun, easy-to-do dance moves. The interval style training and fun music will be just what you need to spice up your workout routine! No dance experience required!

Strength

  • Xpress Abs-15: Our 15-minute abs only express workout! Specifically targeting the abdominal muscles, this class is quick, fun and effective!
  • BOSU Blast!-30:In this session you’ll work every major muscle group (including your heart!) while utilizing the wonderful, dome-shaped BOSU ball.   This class is fun, quick and effective!  Come ready to work!
  • Core-30: In this 30-minute workout, target the most important muscles of the body.  While focusing on all of the “powerhouse” muscles, starting from the shoulders down to the hips, work on improving posture, balance and increasing stabilization.
  • Strength Core-45: Want a full body toning experience?  In this session, you’ll work every major muscle group utilizing different equipment such as weights, stability balls and resistance bands, spending extra time focusing on the core muscles.

Cycling

  • CycleFit-45 Our indoor cycling program is open to participants of all fitness levels.  This class simulates riding outdoors through varied terrain including flats, hills & sprints. Your workout is what you make it!
  • Cycle & Strength-60: A 30-minute express ride followed by 30 minutes of total body sculpting exercises.
  • NEW! Cycle & Stretch-60: The perfect combination workout! 30 minutes of cardiovascular work on the bike followed by 30 minutes of rejuvenating, yoga-infused stretching and relaxation.
  • Bike Boot Camp-45 Your favorite boot camp class mixed with cycling intervals using our CycleFit bikes! This class will help you achieve your fitness goals while adding variety to your workout!  No previous cycling experience necessary.  Instructor will help with bike set up.  A water bottle and towel are recommended.
  • Morning Ride-45 Up and At’em Kats! Get your cycling workout done early! With the help of the instructor and motivational music, go the extra mile during your workout.  Remember, the early cyclist gets the bike!

Yoga/Pilates

  • Pilates Sampler-30: Use this 30-minute sampler session to improve posture, balance and functional movements.  This session builds the foundation for integrating the entire body through controlled exercises to help create long, lean and flexible muscles.
  • Yoga Sampler-30: An introductory session including basic postures (asanas), breathing techniques, and sun salutations that help improve flexibility and strength and eliminate stress.
  • Yoga Foundations-45: An introductory session including basic postures (asanas), breathing techniques, and sun salutations that help improve flexibility and strength and eliminate stress.  Perfect for those who are new to yoga.
  • Yoga 101-45: Work on building strength, improving balance and enhancing your flexibility in this session.  With detailed instruction on alignment and breathing, this meditative practice can help discover new energy, balance, and both physical and mental wellness.
  • Hip Hop Yoga-45: Liven up your yoga practice with this fun, upbeat yoga class.  Designed with all fitness levels in mind, work on improving your strength and flexibility while flowing through poses choreographed to the latest beats!
  • Yoga Flow II-60: Spend time improving your practice, postures and poses.  This session is designed with the advanced yogi in mind.  With more challenging sequences and postures, work on enhancing your flexibility while discovering newfound energy.  Previous experience recommended.
  • Yoga Flow-45/60: Slightly quicker paced than Yoga I, work on linking your breathing with an elegant flow of postures. Yoga flow incorporates flowing sequences and movements to achieve total body strength, balance, stamina and control.  All levels looking for a challenge welcome.
  • Sunrise Yoga-60: Start your day off right with this relaxing yet energizing morning yoga class.  Work on your sun salutations and other poses to help increase overall strength and flexibility, leaving you feeling prepared for the day to come.
  • Yoga Flow II-75: A class for the more advanced yogi.  With more challenging sequences and postures, work on enhancing your flexibility while discovering newfound energy.  Previous experience recommended.
