Fall 2014 Class Descriptions
Abs for Lunch: A thirty minute workout designed to strengthen and sculpt you core muscles! A great addition to any cardio or strength class.
Cardio Kickboxing: A non-stop workout featuring kickboxing, athletic training and plyometrics set to heart pounding music. Come relieve some stress and get a great workout at the same time!
CSI: Cycle strength intervals is an all-encompassing class that will take you through a cycling workout to build your cardio, and a strength workout to tone your muscles. Look for intervals of cycling followed by body sculpting strength workouts.
CycleFit: This indoor cycling class consists of varying speeds, resistance levels and intensities targeted at raising your heart rate and strengthening your lower body while taking you through a variety of sprints and hills.
HardCORE: This short workout is designed to strengthen and sculpt your core muscles! A great addition to any cardio or strength class, or after your own personal workout.
INSANITY: Made famous by Shaun T., Insanity will push you past your limits with plyometric drills on top of nonstop intervals involving strength, cardio, and core movements. This class is sure to get your heart pumping!
KatFit: What is your workout of the day? This team environment class will utilize a variety of strength equipment including barbells, kettlebells, TRX, and more.
PiYo: PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of Yoga. We crank up the music, speed, and fun to give you an intense, low-impact workout that will burn lots of calories and sculpt your body.
Total Body Toning: Increase your muscular strength and endurance while learning proper form and technique. This class will utilize a variety of strength equipment including barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and more.
TRX Body Sculpt: The TRX Suspension Trainer is a workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises while leaving you in control of how much you want to challenge yourself. This total body workout will help build a rock-solid core and greatly increase muscular endurance.
TRX HardCORE: This class exclusively uses the TRX Suspension Trainers. Whether you are looking to build muscle, tone-up, lose weight, or are just looking for the next challenge, TRX Suspension Training will help get you there. The only core workout that works all of your muscles!
Yoga: This mind-body class does more than improve flexibility. Gain balance, core strength, muscular strength and endurance, and leaves you feeling relaxed.
