Parking for Guests with Disabilities

For our guest with special needs, proceed to the parking area located east of the Coliseum at the intersection of Bobby K. Marks Blvd and Bowers Blvd. This area is designated specifically for guest with mobility impairment of those requiring wheelchair access. Ushers will be available to direct guests to the east tunnel and then to the special seating area reserved on the Coliseum floor.

Lost and Found

All items found after each event will be placed in the Coliseum lost and found or turned over to University Police (UPD). If you think you have lost an item, please call 936-294-1740. All lost and found items are kept for 30 days, then forwarded to UPD. The Johnson Coliseum is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Emergency Message Center

It is Coliseum policy not to make any emergency message announcements over the public address system during an event. Guests expecting messages should register their seat location with the Coliseum Manager's office prior to the start of the event. The Coliseum is unable to interrupt any performance in order to page a guest. Guets wishing to have emergency phone service should call the Coliseum Manager's office at 936-294-1740 or University Police at 936-296-1794 to have the message forwarded to their seat.

Special Activities & Group Functions

The Coliseum offers a wide range of special activities and group functions throughout the year. Guest inquires about these activities should be directed to the Coliseum Manager's office during normal business hours at 936-294-1740.

Infant Care Station

There is a Koala Bear Kare changing station located in all women's restrooms.

Special Needs

If you have a special need, please contact any uniformed coliseum staff for assistance.

First Aid

Trainers and medical staff are all on call. If you are in need of emergency attention, please contact uniformed coliseum staff or security/police personnel.

Elevator

There is an elevator available for guests with disabilities located in front of Door 13.

Golf Cart Shuttle Service for our Guests with Disabilities

During Sam Houston State University and High School Commencement Programs, a golf cart shuttle will be available to and from the Coliseum to the designated parking areas (see below for parking).
