Planning Your Application
  • Develop a research topic
  • Prepare new IACUC/IRB application (must reflect the EXACT title of your proposed research project and cover May 1, 2018 - August 31, 2018)

Submitting Your Application
  • Fill out FRG Application; do not add empty filler pages
  • Have your application approved by your department chair and academic dean
  • Submit one copy to ORSP by Monday, October 9, 2017

Notification of Award and Research Work
  • Wait for decisions on awarding of grants from the Faculty Research Council (decisions to be made by mid-March 2018)
  • Ensure that your IRB/IACUC submission has been fully approved no later than April 2017
  • May 1, 2018 - August 31, 2018: Funding period for FRG recipients

Completion of Research & Final Report
  • Upon completion of the FY18 FRG research, one copy of the Final Research Report and Cover Sheet will be submitted to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs by October 31, 2018.
