The Project Management Office is your collaborative partner that coordinates and facilitates IT projects and initiatives. The overarching goals of the PMO are to enable the university to be more effective with its IT investments / budgets, ensure that IT strategy and plans are aligned with the university’s overall strategic objectives, and enable IT groups to be more consistent and effective in the delivery of IT solutions and services to the university.
Our office strives to attain the following goals on each project:
- Customer Satisfaction – ensure delivery of a project that meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Process Excellence – improve project management processes to drive process excellence
- Value Realization – capture and communicate benefits and any positive/negative change to the business resulting from the project
- Compliance – security, communication and regulatory requirements must be built in as part of the deliverables of the project results.
