COURSES OFFERED

  • READ 7340: Sociolinguistics/Discourse Analysis (3CR)
  • READ 5320: Workshop in Education: Second Language Literacy (3CR)

 


STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Students must have been admitted to either a Masters program or a Doctoral Program at SHSU. No visa is required for this trip.


 
HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS

All arrangements will be made by UNIBE. Students will stay with host families in Costa Rica.


 
TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Students will travel as a group. They will fly to Liberia Costa Rica using “Student Universe.”


 
PROGRAM COST

$2200

Includes: Lodging, meals, in-country travel, site visits, health insurance.
Not Included: Tuition (Approx. $1100 for each 3 hour course), $200 study abroad service fee, airfare, spending money
