Agriculture Study Abroad in Costa Rica

Program Overview

This program is designed for both agricultural and non-agricultural students interested in gaining first-hand experience in International Agriculture and Agribusiness while learning about what life is like in a Latin American country. Planned events include the opportunity to observe rural agriculture and lifestyle through guided tours from professional agriculturists, biologists, businessmen, and even Embassy specialists. On-site visits are planned for horse and cattle operations, ag lending organizations, tropical plant production facilities, volcanos (from a safe distance) and so much more!

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Min. GPA - 2.5.  Participation in the program will require instructor approval, and completion of pre-requisite courses.
