SORM announces new workers’ compensation network partner

The State Office of Risk Management announced to client agencies a new partnership with the IMO Med-Select Network®, a Certified Texas Workers’ Compensation Health Care Network (HCN). Effective September 1, 2014, SORM will transition from the CompKey+ HCN to the IMO Med-Select Network®.

All work-related injuries that occur on or after September 1, 2014 and that meet the service area requirements will be part of the IMO Med-Select Network®. Existing claims within the new network’s service area will be transferred in phases and agencies will be kept informed of this scheduled process.  It is our priority to ensure continuity of care with current employees who are actively treating.

The IMO Med-Select Network® is unique in that it gives injured employees access to selective credentialed and contracted providers.  With customer service as a mission cornerstone, SORM and IMO take quality of care seriously, providing injured employees with personalized service, while facilitating quick recovery and return-to-work.

The IMO Med-Select Network® will have a team of customer care representatives and staff available for support and guidance dedicated to SORM client agencies. Agency contacts and injured employees may reach IMO by phone at (888)466-6381 or via e-mail at netcare@injurymanagement.com.
