Summer 2014 Tuition and Fees

Use the tables below to view registration expenses for graduate, undergraduate, and distance learning courses - both for resident and non-resident students.

Registration Expenses

Summer 2014 – Undergraduate In-State

All summer hours are billed together. Mini Session, Summer I, and Summer II are no longer billed separately. Remember to pay your entire summer bill before the applicable due date to avoid loss of class schedule for nonpayment.

The schedule below is predicated on tuition rates based on $50 per credit hour and designated tuition of $145 per credit hour. However, tuition rates may be revised by the Legislature at any time. All tuition and fees are correct as of date of print but are subject to change by action of the State Legislature or by the Board of Regents of The Texas State University System.

In addition, anybody taking Sam Houston State University classes at the University Center or other MITC (multi-institution teaching center) will pay an additional fee of $50 per semester hour taken there.

The schedule below is a base rate for tuition and fees. According to a student's class schedule there may be additional fees not included in this schedule.

Undergraduate Distance Learning Tuition & Fees – Summer 2014

This information is only meant to be used as a means to estimate the cost for distance learning courses. Distance learning courses have an additional course fee of $101 per credit hour in addition to tuition and fees. The student center, medical, and recreational sports fee are waived if only online courses are taken and he distance learning fee is charged per credit hour. All tuition and fees are correct as of date of print but are subject to change by action of the State Legislature or by the Board of Regents of The Texas State University System. Tuition rates may be revised by the Legislature at any time.
