Purpose. To provide advice and input to the Office of Parking and Transportation concerning policy, user fees, or other issues that affect the campus community; to evaluate service levels and demands for new services in relation to their associated costs and the necessity of a self-supporting financial condition for parking and transportation and; to develop a consultative process and communication plan to assure the campus community is kept informed about policy and price changes, in advance of implementation, to allow sufficient time for input from the campus community.

Appointments. The four faculty members will be appointed by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.  The Faculty Senate will be asked to submit names to the Provost for consideration.  The four staff members will be appointed by the Vice President for Finance and Operations.  The Staff Council will be asked to submit names to the Vice President for Finance and Operations for consideration.  The four student members will be appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs.  The Student Government will be asked to submit names to the Vice President for Affairs for consideration and shall include at least one graduate student.  The chair, which must be a faculty or staff member, will be selected by the committee.  The faculty and staff members will serve two year terms, with two of the faculty and two of the staff members appointed for alternating two year terms.  The student members will serve one year terms with the option to be reappointed for one additional year.  Administrative Advisors will serve indefinite terms and are appointed by virtue of position.
