A few thoughts contributed a few years ago by Brooke McGuire (age 15 at the time):
  1. It is impossible to determine the value of a leather-bound volume by its exterior.
  2. Pulchritude does not extend beneath the surface of the body.
  3. Mendicants can't be finical.
  4. Don't compute your immature domestic fowls ere successful incubation.
  5. Homo sapiens dwelling in structures made of crystallized silicon dioxide should not hurl granite spheres.
  6. The total set of everything that coruscates is not the chemical element Au.
  7. Scintillate, scintillate, diminutive celestial body;

  8. Consider the ways I contemplate the meaning of your existence.
  9. Propel, propel, propel your craft,

  10. Complaisantly down the liquid solution.
    Ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically, ecstatically,
    Existence is but an illusion.
  11. Veracity is the superlative course of action.
  12. Cleave and stack fodder while the greater light rules the day.
And what is the "moral" of this Digression? That simplicity speaks to us most clearly.
