I am a proud SHSU alumni! I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2005. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Academic Studies, Early Childhood- 4^th grade. I taught for twelve years with the Conroe Independent School District. All my years have been spent in the kindergarten classroom.

This is my second year working for the SHSU Charter School and I absolutely love it! I feel so blessed to be able to give back to the college all the wonderful things that I learned in the teacher program there. The school has taught me that teaching is always the best through constant hands on learning and movement. The charter school firmly shares that belief and to be able to be a part of that has been amazing! It is so fulfilling to be able to see how successful our school is through the best practices and interactive hands on learning that all grades are doing at our charter school. Thank you Sam Houston State University for the opportunity to do what I love doing. I love to see all the excitement from my students as we continue to learn and grow together.
