Freshman Admission
When we evaluate your application, we will look at where you finished in your graduating class, and your SAT I or ACT scores. NEXT >

Transfer Admission
If you are a student at a community college or another university, you can continue or finish your degree at Sam Houston State University. NEXT >

Former Students
If you are a former student from Sam Houston State University, you can continue or finish your degree at Sam Houston State University. Students will be required to submit an application for undergraduate admission and a $10 Re-application fee in order to re-enter Sam Houston State University. NEXT >

Credit for College Course Work or Exams
If you earn college-level credit while enrolled in high school, take an Advanced Placement course, or College-Level Examination Program exam, you may be able to transfer those courses to Sam Houston.
