Dr. Jason Enia (Ph.D., U. of Southern California) Associate Professor

Dr. Enia's research explores the ways in which political and economic institutions structure theincentives around collective action. His current projects explore the roles that political institutions play in mitigating the effects of both natural and man-made disasters. His research has appeared in The Social Science Journal, The Nonproliferation Review, Review of International Studies, andNegotiation Journal. In addition, Enia has published a popular pedogogical case study through the Georgetown University Institute for the Study of Diplomacy (GUISD) exploring the gap between promise and delivery in international disaster relief aid. He has been featured in the Council on Foreign Relations' Educators Bulletin.

Enia holds a Ph.D. in Politics & International Relations from the University of Southern California, an M.A. in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University, and a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Dayton.
