Preparation for your professional health career commences in the first semester of your Freshman year. It is critical to begin by receiving advisement for the courses and course sequences appropriate to your professional  interests and goals. Typically, Pre-Professional students  work toward a Bachelor of Science degree.  Professional schools do not require a specific academic major or minor. However, since most of your prerequisite courses are in the sciences, a science major provides an efficient way of preparing for professional school admission exams.
