RN-BSN ONLINE TRACK SHSU School of Nursing faculty encourage associate degree or diploma nurses to obtain the baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN). The RN-BSN Online Track is designed for the student who has passed the NCLEX-RN, holds a current, unencumbered license as a registered nurse and wishes to obtain the baccalaureate degree. Earning a baccalaureate degree will open more doors in an RNs nursing career, allowing for positions of leadership and possibly further academic degrees.

Students will attend approximately three face-to-face classes in each course, and the remainder of the course will be online. The face-to-face classes will be held at the SHSU building in the Woodlands, on the Lonestar Montgomery Campus. Applications are now open for Spring, 2015 and can be found under the “Apply” button. Students are urged to meet with an SHSU advisor prior to applying (see the blue “schedule here” button at the bottom of the “Apply” page or call 936-294-2300 for an appointment in the Woodlands or Huntsville. Applications for Spring, 2015 will close June 30 or until the class is full.
