Ars Perpetua
Ars Perpetua is the student composer organization at SHSU. The composers of Ars Perpetua work together to produce and sponsor new music activities both on-campus and off-campus. Members of Ars Perpetua have received local and national honors with their original chamber works and short film scores. AP typically produces two new music programs at SHSU each semester which involve the SHSU New Music Lab as well as student performers from the SHSU School of Music.
Individual members and small groups within Ars Perpetua have had opportunities to collaborate with other artists on campus and in the Huntsville community in multimedia projects involving film, theater, dance, art, video games, and poetry.
