M.A. in Mathematics Education Program

The Master of Arts Degree in Mathematics at Sam Houston State University is a non-thesis program, consisting of 36 semester hours.  It is primarily designed for those who will specialize in mathematics teaching at the pre-university, or possibly two-year college, level.

Core courses are taught on campus in Huntsville, as well as at remote sites, such as The University Center in Conroe, through Interactive Television (ITV). Some elective courses are also offered via ITV or online formats.

For more information on the curriculum, see the program at-a-glance (PDF document).
