Attached you will find the selection criteria and nomination form for the Distinguished Faculty Award. This honor is for College of Humanities and Social Sciences faculty who have distinguished themselves throughout their careers through personal and professional achievements and who have made significant contributions to SHSU, the students, society, and thus have brought honor and distinction to our university.
All current or retired faculty members are eligible for consideration. Preference will be given to those who have made significant contributions over a substantial period of time. All nominations are kept on file for one year to be reviewed by the Distinguished Faculty Awards Committee. Please submit one letter of recommendation and the nominee's current vita, if available, to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Box 2509, Huntsville, Texas 77341-2509.
