Bio

Nicholas E. Grahovec has been with Sam Houston State University since 2015. His main teaching and clinical coordinator responsibilities are for the SHSU Athletic Training Program. Prior to coming to SHSU, he worked as a clinical athletic trainer in a variety of settings including small college, orthopedics, and rehabilitation predominately in the Chicagoland area. When not in the classroom, lab or the clinical setting, he enjoys training for endurance events and spending time with his wife and four girls. Grahovec’s primary areas of research include clinical prediction rules for athletic training interventions, gait and running biomechanics, and incorporating technology in the classroom and its effects on the learning experience.
