Adjunct Geography Instructor, Environmental Geography

At Sam Houston, I have concentrated on teaching Weather and Climate courses, but I have taught a variety of geoscience courses at multiple universities around the country. Besides Weather and Climate, I have also taught many different Environmental Science courses for Ashford University and the University of South Florida, Introductory and Historical Geology courses for Mississippi State (MSU) and LSU (freshman field camp), Human Geography for MSU, and Health and PE for UNC Wilmington. I am currently working on finishing my dissertation research, but I also enjoy helping my husband (Jonathan Sumrall) conduct geology field research. In my free time I keep busy coaching a youth volleyball team at Xtreme volleyball club.
