Courses in Secondary Field^♣	12 hours
Written Comprehensive Examination
Oral Comprehensive Examination

^♣While we certainly encourage interdisciplinary work across a range of fields, the expectation is that the graduate "minor" come from a complementary discipline like History, Foreign Languages, Mass Communication, or Education. For secondary work in Education, all twelve credit hours counted toward the degree must come from the same sub discipline (Reading or Educational Leadership, for example).
