Anslow Bryant Construction Endowed Scholarship: $1000; one award annually; full-time undergraduate or graduate student at SHSU; major in field of Engineering technology with preference for Construction Management major; minimum GPA of 2.50

Beeson Scholarship Endowment: $2500; at least one award annually; full-time undergraduate student in good standing and enrolled at SHSU; major in Engineering Technology; demonstrated financial need; and have and maintain a minimum overall GPA of 2.50.

Dale Benke Scholarship Award: Amount varies; at least one award annually; major in Industrial Education or Engineering Technology; entering freshman having graduate in top 25% of high school class and active in high school Industrial, Technology, Photography, or equivalent club, or returning undergraduate student having demonstrated academic and leadership success, financial need, and active participation in Industrial, Technology, Photography, or equivalent club/organization; awarded to outstanding Sam Houston students majoring in Technology. Awards are based on student needs, contributions to SHSU, the Technology Program, and participation in technology-related student clubs/organizations.

Earl H. Burrough Endowed Scholarship: Number of scholarships and amounts vary. Applicants must be enrolled in the Engineering Technology- Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering 2+2 transfer program to the University of Texas at Tyler, native born U.S. citizen and a resident of Texas, full-time enrollment at SHSU (not including elective hours), an overall 3.60 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. The application deadlines for the current academic year is July 15 for the fall semester and November 15 for the spring semester. Please fill out and email the application directly to Dr. Faruk Yildiz, the Chair of the Department of Engineering Technology.

Fred Pirkle Scholarship Endowment: No less than $5,000; awarded to full-time undergraduate or graduate students majoring in a discipline with curriculum dedicated to Engineering Technology; maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50.

Greater Houston Builders Association Scholarship: $1200; one award annually; undergraduate student in good standing at SHSU; major in Construction Management; demonstrated financial need.

Jimmy P. Ferris Scholarship Endowment Fund: At least $2,000 per academic year; A recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student in good standing and enrolled at Sam Houston State University and major in any discipline with the Engineering Technology programs. Also, the recipient maintains a minimum overall GPA of 2.50. The scholarship is only for a U.S. citizen.

Myron A. Balcom Industrial Technology Scholarship: Amount varies; at least one award annually; full-time undergraduate student in good standing at SHSU; major in Engineering Technology; minimum 3.0 GPA; financial need considered but not a determining factor.

Smith-Nevarez Engineering Technology Scholarship: Amount varies; at least one award annually; must have junior/senior classification, be enrolled full-time, maintain a 3.0 GPA or greater, and be active in one of the construction organizations on campus. Preference is given to students in Construction Management. Financial need will be a consideration but not a determining factor.

SpawGlass Bearkat Endowed Scholarship: At least $1000; at least one award annually; full-time undergraduate student in good standing at SHSU; major in Engineering Technology with emphasis in Construction Management; minimum 2.5 GPA; involvement in extracurricular activities.

Stephen V. Randel Scholarship: Amount varies; at least one award annually; major in any discipline within the Engineering Technology Program; presently enrolled student with minimum 2.5 GPA or entering freshman; good character.

Thomas J. and Patsy P. Frank Industrial Technology Scholarship Endowment: Amount varies; at least one award annually; full-time undergraduate student at SHSU; major in field of Engineering technology; working towards career in teaching Engineering technology; demonstrate financial need;  minimum GPA of 3.00.
