Bachelor's Degrees - Secondary Education Minor
Admission RequirementsTeacher candidates should choose a major to serve as a teaching content area and a minor in secondary education that includes 24 semester hours including six hours of student teaching.

Teacher candidates should complete a majority of their content area courses before beginning certification course work. Students seeking secondary education certification are encouraged to contact the department of Curriculum and Instruction at 936-294-3896.
