Small Group Communication
Throughout our lives, we find ourselves in small groups of people. Our first encounter with a small group is with our family. We develop a group of friends, and later work colleagues form another small group. Many times at home, at work, and at school, those group encounters lead to frustration and stress. This class looks at the theories, research, and practice of participating in and leading small groups. With a strong emphasis on applying interpersonal theories and principles to small group settings, this class requires each student to participate in small group problem-solving activities.
