As an author, speaker, professor and entrepreneur Kristi Johnson enjoys positively impacting the lives of others. She graduated from Grambling State University with a B.A. in Mass communications and Texas Southern University with a M.A. in Speech Communications.

Ms. Johnson has served as an Adjunct Professor at various colleges including Houston Community College, Lone Star College, Veterinary Technical Institute and currently Sam Houston State University for more the past seven years. She has taught various communication courses including Speech Communications, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communications and Business Communications.

As a professor, Ms. Johnson strives to create a positive, fun learning environment for her students. She truly believes that becoming a competent communicator is one of the most essential tools to success both personally and professionally. In addition to sharing her passion for communication with her students, she has also worked for KWWJ (Gospel 1360) as a News Reporter on the Afternoon Delight Show hosted by JJ Williams.

As an author and motivational speaker, Kristi has co-authored 3 books entitled, Customer Service & Professionalism for Women, The Christian Woman's guide to Personal Success and Survival Skills for the African American Woman. She has had the opportunity to inspire more than 20,000 students about the importance of reaching their goals.

Ms. Johnson is also the Founder of Women of Virtue Pageants, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on improving the self-esteem of girls ages 5-18.

She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
