ApplyThe following information applies to those lodging off campus or visiting for the day only:
Conference Registrants must contact Rachel de la Vega in the English Department office by phone (936-294-1403) or email Vega to register for event parking by providing the following information no later than November 3rd:
- Full name of driver
- Home address and phone number of driver
- Make and model of vehicle to be parked on campus
- Driver's license number
Registrants are encouraged to park in Walker Education Center lot:
Those who wish to park in the garage's visitor spaces will pay by the hour/day with no advance registration required.
Those with reservations at the University Hotel will be e-permitted when checking in, so advance registration is not required.
Registrants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the campus parking rules and regulations prior to arriving on campus by visiting https://www.shsu.edu/academics.
Neither the SHSU English department nor ASAT will be responsible for citations issued as a result of registrant's failure to follow parking instructions.
