SHSU Pre-Veterinary Society

The Sam Houston State University Pre-Veterinary Society is an organization that supports, informs, and unites students pursuing careers in veterinary medicine and related fields. Through various activities, members gain a better understanding of the various aspects of the field of veterinary medicine, and learn to maintain a standard of excellence throughout their academic career. Membership is open to all current SHSU students.

Membership:

Our membership is open to any SHSU student regardless of major or minor.

What we do:

The organization participates in monthly meetings, entertains guest speakers, enjoys various off-campus trips and experiences, and participates in community service projects.

Community Service:

Animal welfare volunteer opportunities (non-compensatory) and university sponsored events.

Meetings:

PVS meetings take place monthly on the second Tuesday at 5 p.m. Contact our secretary to have your name put on our email list for updates and meeting information.
