Sam Houston State University: Be part of it.
You've experienced other institutions. But you want to be part of a close-knit learning community where faculty value teaching first. SHSU is that kind of exceptional university-one that wants you to succeed in the classroom-and beyond.
Take part by creating your personalized MySammy page for transfer students. Your page will be created based on your unique interests and needs that you share with us.
If you attend Blinn, LSLC, Victoria or Austin community colleges, "joint admission" allows you to attend your community college and SHSU simultaneously-or alternate between them at your convenience. Learn more about the benefits of joint admission.
