Artistry in Rhythm

“Artistry in Rhythm” is Sam Houston State University's first Jazz Choir started in 2007 by SHSU student Hubert Jones, Jr. The group consists of eleven singers, six women and five men, two piano accompanist, a drummer, and bass; all of which are music majors at SHSU. “Artistry in Rhythm” made it's debut performance at the Fall 2007 Jazz Concert with the Sam Houston Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab Band. Since then the group has performed at various places including: "Luigi's"Italian Restaurant in College Station, Delta Xi Nu's Destination Diversity, and the NAACP Black Legends Ball.
