Goals of the Instructional Leadership Program 

The Instructional Leadership Program prepares candidates to lead schools in the continuous improvement of teaching and learning. To this end, candidates will be able to:

• Support the school community in the implementation of federal and state guidelines,
• Facilitate group processes so that effective collaboration between all members of the learning community can be achieved,
• Select, develop, implement and evaluate curriculum and instruction that is research-based and supports learning for all children,
• Guide change within a culture of diversity.
