Distance Learning Courses

This information is only meant to be used as a means to estimate the cost for distance learning courses. Please note that Summer I and II semesters are billed separately.  Distance learning courses have an additional course fee of $303 per course in addition to tuition and fees. The Student Service, Student Center, Medical Fee, and Recreational Sports fees are waived if only on-line courses are taken and the Distance Learning fee is charged per class. A  distance learning course for each Summer 2008 semester would cost $949.50 for 3 hours. The cost for 6 hours of distance learning courses, meeting the previous mentioned conditions, would be $1849.50  ( Please note this estimate applies to students taking only online courses and who are charged the Distance Learning fee).  All tuition and fees are correct as of date of print but are subject to change by action of the State Legislature or by the Board of Regents of The Texas State University System.  Tuition rates may be revised by the Legislature at any time.

The schedule above is predicated on tuition rates based on $50 per credit hour, designated tuition of $84 per credit hour, and graduate tuition of $50 per credit hour. However, tuition rates may be revised by the Legislature at any time. All tuition and fees are correct as of date of print but are subject to change by action of the State Legislature or by the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System.
