The University Camp is currently under development. When completed, the University Camp will represent a one of a kind recreation facility, offering the university and surrounding community a wide variety of opportunities. Currently planned for the University Camp are:

The Texas Forest Service conducts a prescribed burn to help manage the timbered areas of the property. SHSU Outdoors is looking to return much of the camp to native habitat conditions.
