Welcome

Sam Houston State University offers an undergraduate program in psychology which culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree. The program is oriented toward admission to graduate school and the degree is useful for obtaining employment in various fields such as human services, community services, and rehabilitation facilities to name a few.

Students pursuing graduate studies may select from our Master of Arts degree programs in Clinical, School, or General psychology. Recent News

It was just announced that Dr. Rowland Miller will be the recipient of this years International Association for Relationship Research (IARR) Teaching Award at the 2008 IARR Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. IARR is the organization of relationship scientists.

The award is based on individual's contributions to the scholarly study of relationships, teaching students about relationships, and mentoring new generations of relationship researchers.
