Schedule -- Fall 2007

Personal Information

I have been at Sam Houston State since 1969. My doctorate in Mathematics is from Texas A&M University in 1967. My primary area of interest is Numerical Analysis, however I also have interests in Statistics and Computer Science. I have taught courses in all of these areas as well as the general Mathematics courses.

For enjoyment I enjoy getting to the mountains where I can do some hiking in the cool dry thin air. Just being in such scenery helps to clear the frustrations of everyday life and recharge the mind for another semester.

We have built a loghome in South Park Colorado near Beuna Vista (about 70 miles due west of Colorado Springs).  It has been an "adventure" but at least now I can engage in the activity shown in these pictures!
