QUICK EMAIL TEXT If you prefer to compose your email message in MS Word, there's no reason to copy and paste it into your email program.  Just select File|Send To|Mail Recipient and it willdo that for you, opening up your default email program and placing it there, either  in the text window or as an attachment, depending upon the program you customarily usefor email
MAKE DIAGRAMS/CHARTS
Go to Insert/Diagram. Look into all the options for formatting the diagrams. If you no not have Inspiration, this is a way to do some concept mapping.

ROTATING A PICTURE IN WORD:
a.       Right click on image
b.      From Format Picture, select Picture/Layout/Tight
c.       Go down to Draw toolbar at bottom
d.      Select Rotate or Flip/Free Rote
e.       Click on a corner, and spin away!
f.        Or you can just rotate it exactly with other options.

Correcting Errors in Word when Grading

1.   Lowest level. Just italicize or otherwise denote mistakes. Have student correct. This is easy and makes the student  do the corrections.

2.    Another idea: Use Insert Comments…They will show up in margin.

   3.   OR…Use Track Changes--As you make a change,  the error shows in margin.
    • Go to Tools-Track Changes
    • Make corrections…they will show up as colored boxes in margin.
